Pegah
Owner and Manager (BA Hons French German European Studies, EYTS, Post Graduate Certificate Early Years)
I feel very lucky to be in a position to work with so many amazing, dedicated professionals with a genuine love for children. The Bristol Montessori epitomises my belief that in a very beautiful way children teach us how to love. What I mean, is that life through their eyes is uncomplicated and simple and we can fall in love with the little things all over again. It's so amazing when we see a child feel a sense of accomplishment. And that's what the Montessori approach is. It's following what's in a child's heart and watching how that joy leads to growth.
Something about me: I have 3 kids who are my world and I'm a massive foodie. I should really have a black belt in eating!
Heather
Operations Manager (Forest School Leader Level 3)
I love the free-flow and the freedom of choice and watching the children develop their independence when they come into this environment. Having been here for the last 9 years, I can honestly say that it really does bring the best out in the children and sets them up ready for big school and life beyond!
Something about me: I love living by the water. I think that's the Pisces in me!
Haidi
Compliance Manager (Playwork Level 5, Trainer Level 3 and assessor level 3)
All I've ever wanted to do is to work with children so that's what I've done since I was 16. Their zest for life, their individuality and quirkiness makes every day different and exciting.
Something about me: I can't do back flips but I can touch my toes!
Jerome

My favourite thing about Montessori is the freedom to choose and the responsibility for setting one's own agenda which allows the children's personalities to shine through, and boy do these kids have personalities.
Something about me: I'm a nerd and love strategy board-gaming.
Emily
Deputy Manager (BA Hons Early Year Education, Montessori Teaching Certificate awarded in Wales)
I was fortunate to discover Montessori at the start of my career back home in Pembrokeshire. The Montessori method is a beautiful thing. The way children think, explore and discover the world is remarkable and Iām lucky to be able to see this first hand everyday.
The Bristol Montessori is a home away from home and I love being part of such a wonderful community.
Something about me: I'm Welsh and yes, I do Love Tom Jones!
Nadege
Teacher (Certificate of Education, Montessori Diploma Level 4)
Every day I am wowed by the beauty of nature and humankind when working alongside these beautiful children who will be the adults of tomorrow. The children's energy really rubs off on me and that's what drives me to do what I love, which is teaching the Montessori philosophy.
Something about me: I'm French and I like going out dancing! My speciality is Swing dance.
Marta
Teaching Assistant (Degree in Pedagogy, Montessori TA awarded in Spain)
Montessori allows us as teachers to take our own experiences and bring them to the children. I like how I can bring more dynamic and energetic activities together with calmer activities. For instance the children love doing yoga and meditation with me just as much as dancing and singing.
Something about me: I love to dance, so to unwind you'll see me dancing Reggaeton, afro-Carribean and Bollywood!
Tessa
Teacher (BA Hons Education and English Literary Studies, PGCE)
I came to visit The Bristol Montessori and was so inspired by the feel of the school and it sparked my love of Montessori, so much so, that I never left! While the method is unstructured, it's remarkably organised here!
Something about me: I love a good movie, especially Japanese animation, struggling to keep fit at the moment but I can still juggle!
Tash
Teacher
After raising 3 children I felt that I had gained a lot of practical skills while bringing up my own children, and felt that I could put these into practice by working in education. Working at The Bristol Montessori has exposed me to a whole new approach to childcare. The philosophy of child-led activities and the freedom to choose gives the children a sense of responsibility and offers them an exciting and stimulating environment.
Something about me: I'm a champion bread-baker and I love upcycling!
Milly
Teaching Assistant (MA Dramatherapy)
I am totally fascinated by the connections between creativity, learning and development and thus feel very much at home at The Bristol Montessori School!
Something about me: You'll often find me writing and singing silly folk songs or escaping to the countryside or other countries!
Leanne

I once started an orphanage and educational centre for homeless children in Zimbabwe and there began my love of working with children. Montessori to me is invoking the passion for life-long learning. And that's why I'm here.
Something about me: When I'm not working I'm hula-hooping and practicing other circus skills!
Jo Ingleby
Chef and Teacher
It's so important that children know where their food comes from, they see how it grows and how we turn ingredients into meals. I like them to get as involved as possible because it's at this early stage in their lives, they can really develop a love of food.
Something about me: I used to live in Spain and love Spanish food, dancing and music. When I'm not cooking, you'll find me on my allotment growing vegetables!
Siti
Teaching Assistant (Montessori Diploma Level 4 awarded by AMI)
After I was introduced to child-led learning, I discovered a passion for Montessori and since then I never looked back! I love that the children guide us as teachers and we learn form them.
Something about me: I grow my own vegetables in my own tiny garden at home because I love cooking. I also love to travel with my husband and grown up son.
